Easter Sunday was a full day starting at 10am at
Collingwood Nursing Home, Our Elders Retirement Home at 11am and then our last service at
Blue Mountain Manor Retirement Residence at 2pm. Ross and Florence left this morning for British Columbia so Wayne and Patsy Wilson came on board to be part of the team. Wayne shared the Easter story from the Word of God and spoke of God's love for mankind and how he sent his son Jesus to die for our sins and then on the third day to rise from the grave. Opportunity was given for people to accept Jesus and in each service many people repeated the sinners prayer asking Jesus to come into their heart. Praise the Lord. We were blessed at
Blue Mountain Manor to have my dear friend Peter Cooke join with us and sing 'His eye in on the sparrow' and 'How great Thou art'. We also had one of the residents, a former piano teacher accompany a few hymns and that really added to the service.
Thanks to all who helped
